Sarah has managed large-scale social protection and integrated nutrition programmes in Nigeria, successfully advocating for policy change and supporting continued social protection initiatives. Sarah has been involved in fund management with the Girls’ Education Challenge (GEC) and the Work Opportunities for Women (WOW) Fund, and has also coordinated various Department for International Development (DFID) helpdesks in the areas of Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG), Women’s Economic Empowerment (WEE) and Infrastructure and urban development. She currently collaborates with the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office in overseeing the delivery of two flagship civil society funds, UK Aid Direct and UK Aid Match.

Beyond this, Sarah has a keen interest in supporting disability inclusion, with experience producing disability inclusion factsheets demonstrating the social and economic value of investing in people with disabilities for USAID. In her spare time, Sarah has set-up and runs a small international NGO supporting education programming in Bangladesh.
