UK Aid Match is a Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office (FCDO) fund bringing charities, the British public and the UK government together to collectively change the lives of some of the world’s poorest and most vulnerable people.
MannionDaniels is contracted to support civil society to increase engagement by the UK public in development issues and boost the impact of the very best civil society projects to achieve the Global Goals. We do this by making sure the fund meets its objectives as effectively and efficiently as possible.
UK Aid Match provides opportunities for UK residents to engage with international development issues and to have their say in how UK aid is spent – the government matches every £1 that is donated to a UK Aid Match charity appeal by someone living in the UK, so it’s important to communicate effectively. We’re responsible for providing support and advice for public facing fundraising appeals, developing and managing the UK Aid Match website and delivering an integrated communications programme to keep people well informed and inspired about the difference they can help to make.
Who else is involved?
We work closely with our consortium partners – Oxford Policy Management (OPM), Royal Tropical Institute (KIT), Education Development Trust (EDT), The Social Change Agency (SCA) – and have developed strong and coherent approaches to manage this fund, based on our guiding principles of knowledge sharing and transparency.
