Ally is a communications specialist with 10+ years’ experience of ensuring quality content and accessible messaging. For the past ten years at MannionDaniels, she has delivered strategic, practical and engaging communications for international development. Her speciality has been to support social inclusion and magnify civil society voice. Ally’s experience in ‘shifting the power’ communications puts users at the centre of communications design, ensuring culturally sensitive and relevant content. She is currently working on a learning programme with the Dutch government, in six countries, designing learning tools with local experts, for civil society to collaborate and learn about contextual challenges through engaging communications. Ally has strong experience managing staff and consultants cross-culturally.
