Emily is a Research and Events Manager for an evidence in education project. Her expertise lies in social policy research and writing for organisations implementing international development programmes. She has specialist experience in access to education and keen interest in overcoming barriers to girls’ education. Emily’s key working experiences to date include time in Tanzania implementing an educational curriculum and a spell in The Gambia developing strategy for the university and launching the country’s only academic legal journal. In Sierra Leone she contributed to non-government organisation strategy for a home relocation project in the area of human rights policy and particularly gender issues.
